Groundhog Day: A Talk and an Invitation

Four months ago, on November 2nd, we headed into the liminal realms with the Day of the Dead. On Friday, February 2nd we begin to emerge, like croci in the snow, into the wonders of resurrection, rebirth, and renewal. 

I am inviting anyone who has studied with me or subscribes to my paid substack to join me in an hour-long exploration of that great gospel about the Long Story of our Souls--Groundhog Day starring Bill Murray. 

I invite everyone to watch the film ahead of time and ask yourself one question: What Day are You On Today? 

In my talk we'll explore the hidden wisdom of this wise story--how to recognize and avoid our mud puddles, take our first piano lessons, and commit to our presence on this earth.

In February I will be offering a workshop on The Long Story of Our Souls

To recover the wisdom that we transmigrate from one embodied form to another can allow us to claim the treasures and talents of innumerable past lives—and to transcend the traumas and tragedies that seem to assault us on every side. What if we could reclaim the inner knowing that we are always coming and going, departing and arriving, being born, dying, and returning to all that is – this is the long story of our souls.

How can we access the wisdom that each of our souls holds? How can we recover the lessons we have gleaned from other lives? How does tapping into the long story transform our experience of love and healing, mercy and justice, and life and death itself? How would we live if we knew there was no escape from this world but that we would return to the planet we had already made? What would we do right now? What would we change? What would we claim? What would we initiate?
