Mother Spell
Summoning Rage, Resilience and Radical Magic
[art: Dee Mulrooney]
Confronted by the grotesque horrors of end-stage patriarchal violence, many of us are triggered, overwhelmed, and terrified. What can we possibly do in the presence of ever-more depraved atrocities against our sisters, our daughters, and ourselves? To bear witness to the true state of the human world we will need all of the succor and solace of our deepest spiritual guides—our mothers and grandmothers, incarnations without end, who have seen it all, remember it all, and can help us envision a way forward for our species and our earth.
In preparation for my upcoming book, Mothers of Magic: Summoning the Wisdom of the Ancestors, , I am offering a three-part workshop on Zoom in April to empower all of us to call on the Old Ones in this time of need.
Together we will give voice to our fears and our furies while circling ourselves with the protection and care of all kinds of souls who are ready to stand with us. We will meet our grandmothers from before the catastrophes of empire, our mothers who endured its worst terrors within it, and with the help of these mothers and grandmothers, become seers together who can channel a different possible future beyond it. We will create spells together, along with personal rituals and ceremonies, for holding our grief, claiming our joy, and giving birth to impossible miracles.

Beautiful offering, and oh my, that artwork!
Question: I’m traveling on Tuesday (14th) during the session but I am able to participate in the following sessions. Will the first session be available to watch before the next session so I could be up to speed?
