I have dug dirt from a grave of a powerful man and a woman whose courage I wanted, and sprinkled the dirt to magically protect the perimeters of my land, but I had never thought of collecting the dirt from an ancestors grave for my altar. Nice.
My father's grave is only 1 1/2 hour's drive away. Before he succumbed to suicide, he braved so many challenges. In future, I will collect and use dirt from his grave when I need endurance and courage.
