This, Perdita, feels like the radical heartwood of what you offer. The thing that distinguishes your teaching about the dead from everyone else out there. Instead of a burden, it's a joy. Instead of obligation + duty, it's a chance to be mothered + nourished.

What a fabulously freeing article about the so-called "weight" of our ancestors! I never got it why I needed to heal them, anyway. I agree that I have a long string of miscreants in my lineage as well as interesting and fabulous ancestors. I'm not there yet in asking for help from those who directly hurt me, but I believe I'm getting there.

Oh Perdita, I so look forward to your words, they surprise me in the most stone turning, wonder taking me, way.

This both scares me, as it is directly challenging beliefs I have held, given to me specifically by Male teachers, and gives me new Hope for my connections with my ancestors and dead.

I am finalizing a song, “the hands”, that touches this body of thought.

The responsibility of myself t take the hands of the dead and other than human to walk the wheel road.

This puts a resounding cherry on top of the channeled art. Thank you.

Perdita, when I first started coming to your workshops this concept that the dead don’t need our healing was so freeing. I immediately felt so much lighter and it felt so RIGHT. Thank you for all you do to help undo centuries of being separated from our beloved dead.

Thank you for this…for reminding us of the joy in connecting with our dead! That we don’t need to carry the weight of “healing” them!

Are there any messages of Our Lady about that that you can think of?
